How do you prove damages if your client was already on medications before an injury?

Consider a chart or graph reflecting increased medication usage due to pain like the one in the link above to show changes in pain level.

1. If you have a condition that is expected to last l2 months or more, you may consider filing for Social Security Disability Benefits.  Depending on your income level, you may qualify for Medicaid which pays for some medications and medical care. 

2. Publix has had a program where the chain provides free antibiotics.

3. Ask your doctor for free samples.

4. Go on line.  A number of sites purport to assist individuals with medication costs.

1. If your condition is life threatening, the emergency room will have to see and treat you even if you don’t have funds.

2. Contact the health department.  It may require multiple phone calls and tremendous patience, but, if you qualify you can receive medical care.

3. Research your symptoms.  Check http://symptoms.webmd.com/default.htm which permits you to click on the body part in question and then can assist you in researching your condition  It is not, however, a substitute for medical care.
